These look pretty good! My wedding is at the GPR in November and we opted to upgrade to a private reception on the beach. I haven't gotten around to getting menu options from the WC yet. When is your wedding and which WC are you dealing with?

We did a site visit and food tasting at The Royal PDC.  We chose:

salad - spring salad with goat cheese and almond oil (the caribbean salad with shrimp was also good)

soup - princess cream with asparagus and mint (I think the oyster soup was good too - can't really remember)

main course - giving guests a choice of the beef or the chicken (these were a little dry, but thought most people would prefer these more than the lamb and fish, especially since the chicken comes with fish)

dessert - tres leches cake (not on the menu, but the chef made it for us as an extra option - so good!) - the cheesecake was really good too.

Hope this helps!

Well be getting married at GPR on December 5th.  What day are you getting married?  Did you go down for a site visit, and if so how was it?  We went with the International Buffet 2, looked like a great variety and we really didnt want to be stuck picking one meal for every guest.  I hope that the food is satisfactory

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
