Thanks for the offer Mady. I have the 2013 price listing (and an invoice is anyone wants one) but I'd like the 2014 as I've heard it's out and I want to change my budget to what it will actually cost!
I guess it depends where you're from, blueskadoobob. It is way cheaper for us to have our wedding at Jellyfish than to have it here. Our friends have spent $20-30,000 dollars. I do have one friend that spent $10,000 but pretty much everything was DIY, and no wedding coordinator. We are definitely saving money with JF, including our flights and hotels.. and I think it will also be even nicer than the ones we have been to here!

Out wedding is in July 2013 and I was wondering if any past brides would mind sharing their total cost as I am trying to figure out what the approximate cost will be for 60 guests. I am a bit worried because I am not sure if I am even remotely close to the mark and it's crunch time with the finances. I used the 2013 price list to gauge what it would be but because I don't know exactly what the time line will look like I am a bit lost on how to gauge the bar, dinner, and dancing. We're having our ceremony at 5pm there, and have chosen to have the fire dancers, house DJ, and LED dance floor. We were also going to have the preset lobster dinner with apps when people arrive. Any help would be super duper appreciated

This is my first post on here. I'm planning for a late May 2014 wedding in DR. I'm considering having either an on-site or off-site hotel wedding then a reception at Jellyfish. Originally, we were set to get married in St. Lucia, but the flights were just crazy in cost and duration so we decided to change the location to the DR. My eyes are going to fall out from all of the long hours of research I've been doing...lol.
Can someone also email me the 2014 price list to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks.
Good luck to you all in your planning

Make sure you also account for the fact that the decorations price given is higher when the guest amount is over 50.

Hi Past Jellyfish brides!! We are searching for a videographer for our special day at Jellyfish, and we would like to know if anyone has any good suggestions. We have looked at carribean emotions and video punta cana. We are a tad confused as to what is exactly included in the video.. So if anyone could give us some information that would be delightful! We love the highlight trailers but are unsure if we can get that on DVD?! Much thanks! Xo

I just got married in March with 29 guests, and my bill at the Jellyfish was almost exactly $6,000. This included DJ, food, alcohol, cocktail hour, ceremony outside, cake, decor, simple flowers for the tables, and crazy show($850). Extra costs: photographer (about $2,000), videographer ($1500), Pastor Mark ($350) and makeup/hair for myself and my two bridesmaids ($275). Together with our resort costs (8 days for 2 people, free upgrade to Honeymoon at Ocean Blue & Sands was $2,750)
$6,000 Jellyfish (all inclusive)
$ 350 Pastor
$ 275 Hair/makeup
$2,750 Ocean Blue & Sands
$ 630 Flight for 2 people
$13,505 total Punta Cana cost.
I'm not including things like my dress and decorations that I purchased in the US and brought with me, nor bridal party clothing (which we purchased for the most part) but all of that would probably total another $2,000 or so. Either way, we literally can't believe our AMAZING wedding was only $13K. I had started my wedding search out back home (NJ/NY area) and the minimum we would have spent is probably around $25,000-$30,0000 PLUS a honeymoon. So we definitely saved a lot of money, and had an unbelievable wedding that our family won't ever forget!
We saw a bunch of weddings at the resort, and ladies.. let me tell you.. the Jellyfish is worth every penny. If you're agonizing between getting the included resort package and spending a litte more at the Jellyfish.. I promise you won't have one single regret about it. Do what you need to.. sell your sofa if you have to.. haha.. you'll have a dream wedding at the JF.
