Hi Darcybride! 

I am also going to be staying at the Majestic Elegance for our wedding. And I have heard that both the sunset bar and the sunrise bar are beautiful. The only problem with those bards is that all of your guests would have to be in the elegance club to attend them. 

However, a few years ago I stayed at the Colonial, and they share a Lobby area with the Elegance. And I know from experience that the Lobby bar is gorgeous. So that could be an option as well.

Hi all!  I've been MIA for a bit but now that I'm down to the wire and starting to stress, I'm back on ;-) 

If any of you ladies that have just had your wedding or is coming up have any good advice, i'm all ears.  I still feel like I have a ton to do!!  I still need to choose songs, confirm timing, build the OOT bags and resend Pastor York our ceremony.

 

Any of you do the sand ceremony? did you bring your own set down or does Mayte have?

We are getting married next week at jF and doing sand ceremony, got the set ourselves online and it came with sand but didn't like the colors so.bought some other sand, love the whole thing!

Smith, have u heard from Mayte lately?  I know it usually takes a while, but we r two wks out and i'm not sure of any details on bus timing, etc, etc.  I'm going to try to swing by there 2 days before but id like to know before then lol.  Starting to sweat, havent heard from photographer lately either.

Lala-i didn't hear from mayte for a few weeks when i had emailed her several questions but she did get back to me last week, i heard she has a wedding every day in November and majority of days in December so she's probably just behind schedule :-) We are meeting with her next Friday, 2 days before our wedding to go over final details, taste the food & drinks, etc. I would highly recommend that if you don't already plan to. Also, anything i have asked her, she said she will make happen and from what i have heard she doesn't leave any detail untouched, just may not respond as fast as we like :-) And sand ceremony kits can be found on several websites, I just Googled it and picked one from one of the top sites, love it! Opps....just saw where you said u were stopping by 2 days before, should read everything before i respond :-) Who is your photographer?

Hello everyone!  I was wondering if anyone knows how the music works at Jellyfish.  We are paying for sound but not a DJ and I just figured I could hook up an ipod.  Does anyone else plan on doing this for the ceremony and reception?
