Personalized Beach Towels

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone... okay soo I received my quote today for personalized beach towels from cottonfruit.com. I could only get a minimum of 24. They are 30x60 quoted at 8.25 each and 25 for shipping so that takes me to around 220... do you think I should go for it? I really want to but FI thinks I'm crazy to buy beach towels for everyone. I have no issue with taking these down because my three bridesmaids and mom and FI are all flying down together so everyones taking a bag :) I jus wanna know what you guys think?

heres the design... (I got a quote for yellow and orange)

I was going to get some to put in my OOT bags, but our hotel offers beach towels for the pools and we even ran down to the ocean with them, the staff didn't mind at all. The towels that I fell in love with (they were our colors and had the seahorses that is sort of a theme for our wedding) were 18.00 each. I decided against it because that was more money then I was hoping to spend and more than likely wouldn't even be used.

In my opinion, that's still a lot to spend on a towel...is there a company around where you live that does embroidery? You could buy towels on sale somewhere like Target for much cheaper. I really want to do towels, too, but the price can get a little ridiculous--and like my fiance pointed out to me--guests know where they're headed and will likely bring their own towels. Men--always killing the fun! Lol...good luck...your design is really cute though!!

I think these are great. I ended up doing mugs because I didn't want to drag a bunch of towels with us and we are AI so our resort will provide towels, but if you have no issue getting them down there I think this is a great touch. Also remember your guests will need room to bring them home though wink.gif Im a tight packer so I hardly ever can bring back large items like that. Just don't ever leave the room for them!

I was looking at shot glassess too which are alot cheaper and may be a better idea since we ARE stayin at an AI resort and towels will be there. I've been look for embroidered companies around here but I havent had ne luck.... so I dunno... i guess I'll sleep on it lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
