Margarita Glasses for Favors??

Recommended Posts

Ladies, I need some help/advice/ideas....

My FI and I were originally planning to do shot glasses & a mini bottle of tequila for our favors....but since we have a mix in ages, I thought margarita glasses would be more appreciated. Especially, since our main color is cobalt & you can find glasses with a cobalt rim...but here are my questions:

1. We already have 45 people booked & they are more expensive than shot glasses...but I feel they will be WAY more appreciated

2. How in the world will we get them down therehuh.gif ...without breaking on the plane, or going over a weight limit?? Shipping them right there is too expensive.

3. We found some we like, that aren't CRAZY expensive, but if anyone else has a great (cheap) website for glassware, I'd appreciate it!!

Hey BethBride1

That does sound like a good idea but I do worry about getting them down there in one piece sad.gif

Did you ever consider giving your favors here at home either before you go or when you come back. I think it might just save you the headache of going over the weight limit or having them be damaged by the time the get there.

Just something to consider. Good luck and let us know what your final decision is.

I think it would be a little pricey to have the glasses wrapped good enough so that they dont break & you still run the chance of them breaking. Another idea would be to find them in Mexico but you definately would want to have a back up plan; just in case you didnt find some that you liked.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
