Has anyone looked into renting tuxes in Mexico? Or how much it would cost to rent a tux from home and keep it for a week?

I need to start looking into this as soon as we get our BM dresses picked out.

I thought about getting a nice khaki suit and tie for my FI and then have the GM where just khaki dress pants, white dress shirt and matching ties. THoughts? I dont want to ask them to buy a whole suit.
OMG Bonnie - July... wow they better get sorted soon, ha ha! I dont know if i could leave it that long to pick important things like that. I will kick Dan up the butt to get his sorted hee hee!

Lindobride14 - I like the idea of the suit for FI and then the same colour pants and white shirts for GM. We were thinking the same sort of thing. Dan has seen a nice stone colour suit he likes so he's going to try that on. They do it in linen also but what are ppl's thoughts on linen looking in the photos?

We are going to buy the MOH dress and shoes (although my sister is adimant she will buy her own) and then depending on if my other bridesmaid can make it or not i was going to buy the dress and shoes and maybe get her to pay for her own hair on the day.... is this the sort of thing others are doing?? It's hard knowing what to do for the best...

Tyler will wear something very similar to these suits and the best man will wear khaki dress pants and a white shit.

As for the photos, my FI would not be expecting anything like that so it would be a nice surprise for him if i could build up the courage to do them. I wonder how much they would be?..... And as for the kids finding them. I'm not to worried. I'd be proud if i looked good in them, lol. I hope they airbrush, ha ha ha ha!

I think he will get me something but only because we've talked about wedding gifts. If i didn't mention he wouldn't have even known about them.... I suppose alot of men don't really know about the little things that go with a wedding! Well Dan doesn't anyway, lol
Young at heart definatly with you on that 1 :-) As for the photos i might look into this too, would be love to hav something like that done, and yeah i think if they got rid of all the lumps and bums id be very proud to show almost everyone :-)

Stephen is the same he just thinks he just has to get on the plane and show up.... i keep mithering him about rings and suits but he's just like "yeah, yeah, nearer the time" :-) Haha x I have a few things in mind, but i will let him go with whatever he wants really (within reason) I know he's good with things like that so I know he'll go for something great :-)

Not really sure about much of the wedding party dress yet to be honest.... but i know once wedding is booked it will spur FI on and theni can also start talking about it with my dad :-) OH and mum as i guess MOB will want something stunning too :-) Anyones mums know what their wearing yet?

Ha ha we have typical men ah! I'm letting Dan go with whatever he likes too. Luckily we have the same taste so i'm sure he will look great.

My mum is always talking dresses!!! She tried one on a few weeks ago from Karen Millen but didn't like it on. I think she is going to serious MOB dress shop in the summer months (not to long away now, yippee) I think she will be worse than me at finding a dress, hee hee!

Raychel i LOVE the second picture suit! That is very similar to what Dan's seen but his is slightly darker in colour. Oh they are gonna look so handsome all dressed up! I can't wait!

My wedding WC finally sent me the contract and answer all of my questions! Finally!!!

So while going through all the wedding planning my sister-in-law (finance step-sister) ask me so who is going to buy for her ticket and Jason my little brother. I told her well the parents are paying for jason. Then she replied back saying.. well then I I have to figure me out. She is 20 years old and asking? hmmmm.... what does everyone think?

I mean I am doing long distance right now with my finance I moved up north because of work and trying to save up for a house and wedding.. and all of sudden she ask me who is going to pay for her? Not only that I asked her when is she going to mexico for her friend's wedding in April and I asked who is paying for her? She said herself.

Ugh..... shoot me!

See I would love to pay for everyone but then it's not fair to all the other siblings you know? And besides she is the step-sister of my fiance. If I were to pay I would at least pay for my brother.. I don't know I am about fairness

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
