like i said, i didn't want to register (we're established, have a house, etc.), but once i did, i realized that if people WANT to give us presents, at least let it be stuff that i like...

ditto. not everyone got us a gift - but those that wanted to, at least they knew what to give. and those that couldn't come still wnated to get us something.
