Congratulations and welcome to the forum! I'm getting married in Jamaica in Jan 2011 and I'll be sending out my STD's in the next couple of weeks. I put my website on there so people can look on there for more information. I'll send out formal invitations in the spring when the pricing comes out. I think most people understand that. The main thing is just giving your guests enough notice and a year is plenty!

Congrats and welcome to the forum! I've planning a 2011 wedding and first you want to give people plenty of notice of what you are doing so they can save. Then with help from a TA and doing some research on prices around the date you are choosing you can get a guestimation of what your guests will be spending and give them a ballpark.

welcome to the forum. Make sure to send out you STD cards and that way your guests will be able to begin saving and you can give them more details when you receive them from hte venue. Everyone will be excited and wasnt to start their planning to make sure to be able to attend your wonderful wedding. Happy Planning nad best wishes!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
