Has anyone else had a similar bouquet to the one I would like? How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking.

    I am still in shock!!

    Many thanks,

WOW! I would think that many of those flowers would be easy to get in Cancun and thus not too expensive. I would think $650 would be the bill for all the flowers not just yours.

I would start shopping around.
      Hi,

Yes you are right, the flowers I would like are available so they should be that expensive. My WC sent me a price for just a bouquet of peonies and it was only $180!!!! I don't know how she came up with that price!! I think I need to speak with another member of staff as I am not allowed to use an outside vendor.

        I agree.

I would that quote is for all bouquets but I did ask her to quote me for just mine so I think I need to double check with her.

I have asked why the price is so high and I am just waiting for her to get back to me now.

I just don't see how that price can be right though. That's 3 times what I had estimated!!

I asked for an orchid bouquet and the cost was just over a hundred dollars. I think 120. But that's all :) That does seem very expensive.

            Hi Angela,

Did your WC mean 650 pesos?

                Hi girls!

Ok so the MP got back to me. she said it was because the flowers were not local to Mexico.

                This is my reply.

                Hi,

I still cannot understand why the flowers are so expensive.

I have looked at the list of bouquets Maribel sent me. A full peony bouquet is only $180. Cymbidium orchid bouquet is $150 and Cala lillies are only $110. Now if you are only needing a couple of each of those flowers I cannot see how you came up with that price. Does that mean it's the fushia lillies that are the reason for the ridiculous price?

                Regards,

                Angela.

That is very extreme! I have requested many of those flowers in my bouquet and it is ending up costing an additional $75 over the cost of the "basic" bouquet that was part of my package.

That sounds more like it for sure!!

The fushia lillies are part of the free flowers included anyway so I just don't get it.

I am still waiting for them to get back to me at the moment.

That does seem expensive. I would do some research on other florists in the area and get a few more quotes.
