    Hi,

We are thinking about booking Sandals in St. Lucia but are not 100% sure yet because of travel issues and such. Still...I want to hold my place if I can. Some question is this.... is the $400 deposit refundable? If you change your mind and want to switch your deposit to another Sandals resort, are you able to? Thanks.

Yes, last I checked, it's fully refundable up to 90 days before your trip. We booked a trip last year and then canceled because we then found out we'd be getting married in Jamaica the following April and were able to get back the full $400.

I booked through a travel agent and we paid like $150 insurance per person so that if God forbid we have to cancel we can do so for any reason and only be out the insurance $.  This seemed to be a wise idea since we booked a year in advance!

My TA told me the $400 deposit was refundable until 45 days prior to travel.
