Hi everyone-

My name is Allie and I'm from MA. My fiance and I just decided last week that a destination wedding is definitely for us. I was going back and forth about it and looked at a few traditional places, but it just didn't seem like us. We're looking at Oct or Nov 2010 and have narrowed it down to a long weekend in Florida or a caribbean cruise. The cruise seems to be the front runner so far since everything is all in one location and it would be ideal for a large group. Looking forward to researching and getting ideas!

Congratulations!!

My fiance and I got engaged back in August, and had started talking about destination weddings before we were even engaged. We are aiming for Nov 2010 in Mexico but we just done know where! I want something with a nice beach for walking, and something that will do a nice wedding, but not something that is "too romantic/coupley". We have a lot of college friends who are hoping to attend, so we want a "fun/night" atmosphere as well. I was starting to get excited over: Occidental Grand Xcaret but I am just not sure about their beach situation. I am really excited to have found this forum though!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.
