It's always been 150 posts, because so many people complain we added the option to just pay. But really it's not very hard to rack up 150 posts just by being active.

In case anyone else is as paranoid as I am..... the resort has a water purification system... not that I will be drinking their water, I will only drink the bottled water, but I was concerned about the ice cubes! I know it is ridiculous to worry about something like ice cubes..... I am kinda crazy!!! ha ha!!!

Due to recent bans, I needed clarification about the "emailing" policies on here. I will not be emailing anymore information, I would be lost without this forum and I cannot risk being banned! I will try to post as much as I can that I received from Ana, however I do have quite a bit so it might take some time! HAPPY PLANNING everyone!!!!!!!!!!

yeah ice cubes, thats a good point actually, I went and got my hep a and hep b shot, but still good to know

I have asked Ana on seperate occasions about fire dancers they do allow them but I am not sure what vendors they use or what is the cost associated with same

some of the DJ that are used at DRC like Mannia and Doremixx have cold fireworks - I have seen pictures of them for the first dance and it looks really neat

love this resort! Do you know how far in advance they take bookings? & how much deposit is required?

Thanks

I just booked my wedding for 11-5-10. When my TA checked (a couple of weeks ago), there were only about 5 slots open for the entire months of October and November.

Hopefully this helps to give you some idea...

Hi Everyone!

I'm planning a smaller wedding (around 20 guests). I'm hoping to just go with the free Paradise package and then add on extras. Does anyone have any information about reception options for this? I'm wondering if it is possible just to have a dinner together in one of the restaurants instead of paying to have a full reception. Does anyone have any information/advice?

Thanks for your help!

For those that are concerned with the privacy of the ceremony, my TA heard back from Ana about that issue, and Ana said replied that they are working on the privacy issue and they have signals of some sort to close that area and she would close the area off for every wedding.

i am doing the same! since we are having a reception back at home after Mexico, i had my TA ask Ana if there was a way to arrange a welcome dinner at no additional cost. it just seems silly to me to pay for food and drinks at an all inclusive resort. but i have never been anywhere, so who am i to say?! Ill let you know if i hear back from Ana though!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
