    Where do you walk out from when you get married here? Im trying to pick out songs for everyone to walk down the aisle to... I want to make sure they are long enough I guess.... MEXICO 2-15-13.JPG

      SOOOO many things to think about!!! Im all over the place!!! Im trying to get a handle on the food options... Gold Menu??? If anyone has that, that would be wonderful! simstar969@hotmail.com

       

      Music... Im choosing my ceremony songs now.... Now, do I use the included DJ??? Or another DJ?? And if so, which one??? And how do I go about booking them?? And how much more does this cost?

       

      Reception... Where do I have mine? Does anyone have any pics? Im up to about 30 people aswell.

       

      Photography... Im getting the Ultimate package... Is that Adventure Photos? Anel? Because I like those pics! Im so confused.

        From what I have read the DJ is the way to go. I am just getting started on all the planning and have lots to think about. Are you having a legal ceremony and do you know the number of days for sure you have to be in Mexico to be married legally? We arrive on the Saturday and plan for the Wednesday as the Thursday is booked already. I hope this will be ok as we all leave on the following Saturday and do not want to wait til the Friday to marry. Good luck with all the planning and hope to hear about things as you go along!

            Would you mind sending me your spreadsheet as well? 

             

            Just found out from Yamina the buffet option is only available if you have more than 25 guests.  Also heard back from Yamina about the Ultimate Package, here's my question and her response:

             

            If we select the Ultimate package can we remove the Waterford Yours Truly Champagne Flute Pair, the Live Mexican music trio, and the Video of the ceremony - then use that for credit towards a DJ or a photography package? Unfortunately, the packages are unchangeable or reimbursed if unused. In that case, if the package is not convenient for you, we recommend you to have the wedding “a la carte”. However, it can become more expensive.

              I distinctly remember another bride on here saying that she substitued the Mexican Trio for something else ! Gina also told me that I could not do that, but if it was done for someone else I will try and push push push to get that substitute

                They told me that I could substitute the Cocktail hour and use the credit towards dinner at the reception. I didn't ask about anything else but I SURE hope what they told me is right!!!

                  Hey Everyone! Keith and I are getting married at DRC August 6, I haven't really posted anything on here yet, but looking forward to seeing what everyone has to say and give advice on.

                   

                  My wedding date/time is booked, but other then that I haven't really done much with the wedding planners at Dreams thus far, I really need to start figuring out all the details.                     Ok, it sounds like Yamina and Eva have totally different answers...

                    Eva told me that you have to have 40 people to have a buffet. And she told me I could credit the cocktail hour towards our reception. And I know I've seen other people on here being able to trade out things in their package. (specifically the mexican trio). I don't need my hair and makeup done and I don't  want the white chair covers that are included in the ultimate package so I was hoping I could get a credit for that too, but now I'm not so sure... UGH!!

                      I emailed her my times and locations when we confirmed the date.

                      I'm at DRC April 13th - 27th so we should see eachother!
