What/How are you doing your wedding?  Ceremony Location?  Cocktail Hour?  Reception Location??  And of course the popular question..who is your DJ?

I send him an email and he said to contact my WC at Dreams for pricing..I haven't asked her quite yet - assuming it's the $300/hour..not sure though.

I FOR SURE think a DJ is worth it..that makes the party - it is for sure where we WILL spend a little more than most!!  Very important to us!!

OK I know it's been posted before, so sorry in advance, but what size overlay's do I get for the reception tables (I got the round tables) and what size for the cake table and cocktail tables. And I also did tell Lisabeth that I needed a long square table for other items for the cocktail party. Please help, we leave in 7 weeks today!!! OH BOY!!! Thanks girls for all your reviews!!! They have really helped.

Getting Married - 5/22/2011 - Did a site visit in November. Cant wait! Just joining the thread and very interested in bringing in my own people for hair/makeup and the seemingly popular DJ thread. When I went I heard a DJ do a wedding and the music sounded current my, coordinator Gabi isnt there anymore and they lost 70% of my info (pretty much everything aside from the deposit) I am remaining positive.

Haven't heard anything about this DJ...we started making a list of songs - probably gonna do what Tara did and hand it to him to play from...just makes it safe!  Although the DJ still has to keep the party going!!

Hi Ladies!

I know that this has been talked about before as I read it but in searching, I can't find again.

With the Ultimate package, 20 people are included/covered with the package. Can someone please tell me what the additional cost would be per person for the reception?

Thanks a bunch.

We used Edgar 2 weeks ago for our wedding and he did a good job.  If you send him a list of songs in advance he will make sure he has them.  Otherwise, he has a fairly large selection and kept the party going.  We also brought our iPod and could play off that whenever we wanted.  You should be happy with him.  The only thing I would caution you on is that if you are getting the lit dance floor, get specific dimensions.  The one we received was too small.  Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
