OMG - I've been wondering when his restaurant opened _ I look at Borgata stuff all the time. I'm going to have to get to AC soon and take a look. That's too bad that they don't really get to run their own place. They really do lead you to believe that.

Scott does seem like an a$$hole, but I guess you'd have to be when you work for Gordan!

It's called Forelletto, in the Borgata basement. Just a hint, eat a snack first and bring $$$$. It is expensive as heck, and the menu is small and a little confusing. We saw a lot of people ordering just drinks and desert (which we wish we could have done). The head chef is Steven Kalt, who I guess has been on lots of cooking shows.

I always wondered what exactly their part was in actually running the resturant. It's kind of like the positions on the Apprentice. It sounds all awesome, but really they aren't in charge.

If you think about it though, I'm not surprised. Ramsey isn't going to hand a resturant to these contestants who don't have the same level of experience as someone else he could get to run his resturant. The prizes on these reality shows sound a lot better than they are.

Actually, the restaurants aren't owned by Gordon Ramsay. The restaurant offers a 1 year contract to the HK winners as a kitchen employee, after the year is up they do not need to keep the winner. From what I know, there is only one HK winner who was offered a full time position in the restaurant after the year was up. I don't know who it was though. I don't know why they lead the viewers to believe the finalist will "win" their own fancy place. Oh, and they also get 250k.

It does make sense and I can understand them not wanting to turn the kitchen of a very fancy/expensive restaurant to a novice chef, but they really make it seem like he will be the head chef.

This year they are all kind of awful, with I think Ariel Dave and Kevin never being brought up for elimination. I think they will be in the final 3. Van has too much of a Temper and Tenille doesn't know when to shut up. I wish they would get rid of Suzanne but I think they keep her to make the show more interesting. Dave is rocking with only one arm/hand - I'm kind of rooting for him.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
