You don't have to do anything. When you get married the pastor will give you a copy of your marriage certificate which you take with you and can use to change your passport, driver's license, etc. A formal copy (bearing a gold seal of T&C) will be mailed to our house later (we got ours about a month later). Though the laws differ from State to State your marriage will be recognized, you don't need to go through any additional steps. Hope that answers your question.

This is probably a dumb question to ask at this point since my wedding is two months from now down in T&C, but does anyone know what we have to do to make our marriage legal in the US (if anything)? I've tried to search the internet for what we need to do to make sure our marriage will be valid, but can't find anything.
