I think an Ai is probably the way to go for that price. I think I'm going with the Sheraton and the banquet is $75 per person and international open bar is anywhere from $69-88 per person per hour. Hope that helps!

I am getting married at Dreams in Nov. Just to reiterate what Ana mentioned, the fee is $29 per person for the set up fee, At minimum you will have 2 set up fees, one for the ceremony and one for the reception, so $58 per person. If you add lobster to the reception dinner the per person price would increase from $58 to $70.

I am getting married earlier in Nov and not over a holiday weekend so my nightly price is a lot lower than what Jess mentioned earlier. I used Tammy (Host) thru this site (she was also a dreams bride) and she did help us to get an AMAZING rate. If you are leaning towards Dreams you should contact her for the pricing. It varies quite a bit by time of year and holidays etc.

I think Dreams seems the most reasonable. I would get newest prices for this just to make sure it fits into budget.

I just went down to Cabo for site inspections and I received a huge contract from Riu Palace for 2010 rates. Let me know if you would like more of the info, but you could easily do a wedding for the price range you are looking for. The wedding planner I worked with was Daniela Morales and she seemed really busy, but nice. I decided against the Riu Palace because of the requirement for 80 percent of the guests must stay at the hotel, pay for all inclusive and then we would have to pay a "set up fee" per person. I felt like it was a double charge because the guests already were paying for the food in the room rate. I know this is standard for all inclusive, but I did not like it. Other Hotels have about 60-80 dollars per person which I thought was a good deal.
          Hope this helps
