All "dressed" up ... and no place to go ... LOL

Recommended Posts

OMGosh ... I'm feeling frustrated! Help me ladies (and gents).

First ... my dress came today ... I ordered the one that was posted about from Target as a possible TTD dress ... and I love it! As mentioned in the post ... it's way too big but I have a difficult body and would've needed altering no matter what so no problem there ...

soooo .... now I have a dress and most of my other details somewhat figured out ... and NO date and NO venue!

I wanted Dreams Tulum but the only dates and times they came back with (for this June) I'm not sure I want to go through with. I've been looking into Cozumel ... and trying to get over my sadness ... but I seem to be attached to Dreams so I might bite the bullet and take the date and time they are offering (it is short notice and I knew that).

Has anyone married at Dreams Tulum at noon? I'll post this question in the appropriate forum too ... just wanted to vent and need some support.

If I don't get something picked here soon ... it might just be us because of the short notice we're giving friends and family! LOL

Thanks for this great forum ... I love it! *SmiLes* Suzanne

Dreams Puerto Adventurous may also be a good option for you.

I got married at 4pm at DT, but thinking back I think I would have loved an earlier ceremony time so we could have had all afternoon to take pics, hang out with everyone, and then go to the reception dinner later on. If you do a noon wedding at DT, perhaps you can do champagne afterward, then let everyone do their own thing while you take pics, enjoy time with your hubby, then meet back up for your reception/dinner with your guests.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
