Bahamas Offers Bridal Bailout Contest

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism is offering the “Bahamas Bridal Bailout†contest, whereby brides and grooms-to-be whose wedding plans have been affected by the economy can enter for their chance to win one of five free destination weddings in the Bahamas. Interested couples can go to Bahamas Bridal Bailout - Save the Date - Bahamas | The Bahamas to secure full contest details and begin creating their entries -- either a short video or an essay with photo -- explaining why they should be “bailed out†by the Bahamas. The official submission period is March 20 through April 24, when couples can upload their entries to Bahamas Bridal Bailout - Save the Date - Bahamas | The Bahamas. On April 25, the contest site will be open to all consumers to view the various entries and vote for their favorites until May 17. The top 20 entries that receive the highest number of votes will be reviewed by a panel of judges, who will choose five couples to win free weddings in the Bahamas.

 

 

The five winning couples will experience why “It's Better in The Bahamas†with a wedding that includes airfare for the bride, groom and up to eight guests; five complimentary rooms; a wedding cake; photographer; flowers; and more, and will take place at the following resorts: Old Bahama Bay by Ginn Sur Mer; Pelican Bay at Lucaya; Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort; SuperClub Breezes; and Wyndham Nassau Resort & Crystal Palace Casino.       Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
