I agree that you really can't go wrong with beach color selection.. with the execption of maybe going all black; but I guess that could even be made to work.

I personally like the idea of neutrals in a beach wedding; because I like the idea of the beach, water, etc.. being the focus and decor.

But.. everyone is different. Bright colors really pop on the beach. All the combo's you mentioned would be beautiful.

I've basically been in the same boat. I don't have a favorite color either. The only thing that helped me FINALLY come to a decision I was 100% comfortable with was looking at swatches. It helps a lot to see things in reality, not on a computer screen or in your head. Since the bridesmaids dresses will play such a big role in how things "pop" during the ceremony, I picked dresses that I liked first, then looked at the colors they came in...from there, I called the shop and made sure they had swatches for all of them. I'm not big on bright, but didn't want things to be too dark either. After much posting and hitting my girlfriends up for thoughts, I've settled on ivory, gold and chocolate. I figure they are also colors that will play well off of what's around us...trees and sand, as well as letting the natural beauty take center stage.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
