Hey! So I'm very sad because I scheduled my first ever Brazilian for Thursday, February 12 (perfect timing, right before Valentine's Day!), and found out last night that i'm going to be on my period then! And I read somewhere that obviously you shouldn't do it during that time of the month, especially becaues if you did it would hurt more. So I really wanted to have it done by then though....and I'm wondering how long the hair needs to be in order to be waxable? Is it 1/4 inch? I'm wondering because I want to reschedule for this weekend, if possible, but have only stopped shaving for less than a week and I don't know if it will be enough growth by then. What do you ladies think?

It depends on how fast your hair grows, but I would say that it won't be long enough - sorry I don't think you should chance not getting a proper wax & still have to go through all the discomfort! But maybe if you're going to your regular waxer she would be honest with you & tell you that it's not long enough & come back in a week or two. Good luck!
