So, my first dress is at my mom's house across the country so I can't try it on again or have it altered. Because I lost a little weight recently, I am afraid it's going to be too big or that I might not like it as much as I used to, so I bought a second dress yesterday just in case! (Crazy - I know!) We are going to bring both of them down. Which one do you guys think I should wear?

#1 is the first dress I ever tried on and I fell in love with it. It is different and very "bridal" to me. It is a Romona Keveza designer dress and cost me an arm and a leg.

#2 is what I bought yesterday at David's Bridal. It's fun and festive, but more typical of what you see all the time.

Also, we are not getting married on the beach, but in a Spanish courtyard at the resort, and I will be wearing a chapel-length veil.

Not much to go on here as I can't see #1 all that well. I would say #1, but maybe bring both, and wear #1 at the ceremony and #2 at the reception!

I really like the first one, even though its really small and hard to see the details. Can you provide a better pic or a link?? But from what I can see, I really like #1.

It's the best I could do with the pic of #1. I tried to make it bigger, but BDW says the jpeg dimensions are too big to host.

It is sheer silk organza, with a subtle shimmery thread throughout, very light and airy, with bateau neckline and long sleeves, covered buttons down the back.

I would say where the dress you love, you said you fell in love with #1, then I think thats your dress and you should wear that one, I'm sure you'll still love it as much as you did the first time you tried it on.

I vote for number 1, but I wouldn't tie myself down to it. Instead, I would bring both, try them on and see which one makes you feel the best. Both are beautiful!

I voted for number one because a) its the dress you fell in love with and; B) it cost you an arm and a leg lol.

It's true - it's difficult to see what it really looks like. The second dress is very pretty too. I like the idea of what's been said above: wear both!!!

I agree with Debs, wear #1 for the ceremony and maybe dinner, and then change into #2 after dinner. It is slightly more casual and you can still have pictures in both of your dresses.

I'm actually going to say #2, only because when I look at the first picture, it looks like it has long sleaves..

I voted for number 2. I'm afraid number one won't fit you anymore and now you'll have a complex because everyone told you to wear that one! I actually think they are both beautiful. It'll come down to which fits you and makes you look beautiful when you get down there. Good luck!
