Need Help....What to do with Short Hair??

Recommended Posts

Hello Ladies, I need some suggestions. As you can see from my picture I have short hair. I really do not want to wear a veil. I've been asked by many people "what I'm wearing in my hair", when I say nothing I get a strange look. I've tried on tierra's and they just don't look right - it looks like they are balancing on my head with no where to go.

If there are any other brides with short hair out there that have suggestions I would be happy to hear from you. Or if you don't have short hair and have suggestions I'm all ears.

Also, do I have to wear anything in my hair or on my head? blush2.gif

Thanks in advance!

No, of course you don't need to wear anything you don't want to!!!

In terms of style,, you could go with something a bit different and try to style waves into your hair or if you're not going to do anything with your hair or put anything in it, maybe you could wear some fantastic earrings for bling.

If you're open to trying different accessories (other than tiaras), you could try wearing a thin headband (almost invisible) with something fun for the side on it like flowers, crystals or feathers

Or an actual clip/fascinator headpieces, like the following:

They'd give some nice colour too!

I think this one is gorgeous - by LoBoheme (Etsy)

Even if you're not someone who likes to stand out, don't sell yourself short - be sure that you will feel special and glamorous enough on your WD!

I agree with Kevsgirl...you don't have to wear anything (well...a dress would be nice! lol) if you don't want to!

If you did want something...another idea could be a flower tiara or headband of sorts. Almost like a small wreath of flowers I guess. Or have you looked into styling your hair with hair pins...Hair Comes the Bride- Hairpins View All. Maybe see your stylist for a trial run & see what they suggest! It would all depend on what went with your dress too. I say have fun with it & do what makes you feel best!!!!

Be sure to let us know what you decide!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
