Hey Ladies.. I am too am not on WW, but I like the idea of checking in.. and being accountable for my eating habits.. If Ok with you ladies.. I would like to check in with you all. I have about 35-40 lbs to loose for the wedding June 26th at Dreams Tulum, I know it seems like a lot of work, but with my FI being a trainer in his spare time, I know I will do it..

Thanks ladies.. :)

Hello ladies! Welcome Super19, Royal_lady and Pat!!! For those of you on WW, I have had a lot of success with it and think it's a fabulous plan so if you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will try to help :) We are here to support each other and it also helps to keep us accountable when we know we are going to post our progress to keep us on track.

Congratulations Mrs. D and Lisa!!! You guys are doing so great! I will definately not miss next week's meeting... I know how much they help and it is much too easy to slack off when you don't go :) Last week was rough but I have been pretty good this week so hopefully I will see a loss by next weigh in (or at the very least break even). Wish me luck!! :)

p.s. You girls are FABULOUS!

Hey girls! I am a September 2009 bride, but would love to crash your thread if you don't mind! I started WW 2 weeks ago, and could use the extra support, you girls seem like a great support system!

I did well in my first two weeks, stayed on plan and lost 2 pounds the first week and 2.4 the second week...but since that last weigh in i have completely fallen off the wagon! I have 29 pounds to lose to get to my goal weight.

I need some movtivation!!!!! (as if a pending wedding isn't enough motivation...i dn't know what my problem is!)

welcome4.gif jcoop! You have come to the right place! It's much easier to loose weight and stay motivated when you do it with someone else.. and that's what we are :) The great thing about WW is that you get a fresh start every week (or every day for that matter). Don't let one day or one week ruin all you have already accomplished. I know I've had my share of ups and downs when it came to weigh-in each week, but the ups (meaning losses) always outweighed the downs (gains) and before you know it you're at your goal weight! Don't give up! Just find what works for you, what foods keep you satisfied within your points and don't be afraid to use your flex points for treats (for me it's pizza) so you don't deprive yourself. You can do this! :)

p.s. I've been a lifetime member for more than a couple of years already and am at it full force for the wedding so I know it works (I just got lazy after maintaing for so long) :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
