I think it's really important to keep a food journal/diary. Write down everything that goes into your mouth...even if it's just a handful of chips or a chocolate chip cookie! It's those little things that you think won't make a difference, but they really do! It all adds up at the end of the day. I also believe it's important to plan your menu ahead of time. Go shopping on Sunday night for example and stock up on fruit, veggies, fish, lean meats, whole grains, etc. From there you can plan what you'll have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While doing this, don't deprive yourself of certain foods/drinks you love. For me, it's coffee with cream and sugar. I can't imagine having it with skim milk, ew! Yet, I can easily eat my cereal with skim milk. It shouldn't have to be a huge struggle. Eat the things you love in moderation and eat them with love! Ohhhhh and NEVER eat when you're stressed or emotional about something. If you're anything like me...you'll keep eating until you have a tummy ache! Hope this helps a bit and good luck!

I'm back!! And I've lost a couple pounds since I last posted! :) I have actually been trying to stay away from my computer as much as possible. I was just spending too much time on it instead of keeping up with other things I needed to do. I took some time to focus on staying active and have been to the gym regularly :) There is just so much planning to do it's hard to stay away for too long! Hope everyone is doing fantastic!

Great job V! You're doing awesome. Glad to hear from you! :) Sometimes we all need to re-focus once in awhile.

I was doing great in the beginning of last week, but near the weekend, it wasn't so great. I'm hoping for a loss this week, cross your fingers girls!

Hello ladies

I am new to the board - and I was happy to see this thread. I am jumping back on the wagon and hoping to fit into a wedding dress. I am getting married on July 30, 2010 at the Grand Palladium in Riviera Maya. I need to lose some weight soon so I can start dress shopping - I cant wait!

I was a WW member and lost some weight and then got lazy and "quit" ( well, I continue to pay for the on line membership...) so I am starting fresh to day and hopefully I can have some success to report soon

Good luck to you all. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
