Water shoes/socks???

Recommended Posts

Hello there!

I am thinking about getting some of those slip on type "aqua shoe" thingies I know I've read about somewhere for our OOT bags. From what I have heard, the beach at our resort (the Royal PDC Mexico), though lovely, is a bit rough in the water. I thought something that our guests would never think to bring themselves, would be a nice OOT addition.

Is there a product that pads the tootsies from rocks/shells that can be worn into the water?

I'm in Canada, so a vendor that ships here would be ideal!

Thanks everyone!

Hmmm...the cheapest place I've ever seen water shoes is at either Walmart or Target ~ are any of those in Canada? confused.gif

During the late spring/summer season, they generally run from $4 to $6 a pair. During a good sale, I've seen em as low as 2 for $5. In some after-summer sales you can find em as low as $2 a piece. Don't know if this helps you any? Haven't really seen em for as cheap online. How many pairs do you need? That would be a terrific OOT bag gift that I'm sure your guests would love cheesy.gif

I am going to have to agree...Wal-Mart is probably going to be the cheapest route on this one. You may want to contact any of the websites you look at and see if they can give you a discount if you buy in bulk. I know sometimes it NEVER hurts to call and ask. What's the most they can say "no" so you should give it a shot, it's not hurting anything.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
