Wow Tan...your leg really sounds messed up. I hope you can get something resolved with it soon.

I'm pretty pumped to be nominated for MotM too!!! Thanks for the noms & votes!! Us SWO girls are going to take over BDW Tan!!! lol

It would be great if you could be there too Kayte!! It's definitely going to be a very interesting morning in the airport!!!

Thanks for the info Angela...I will be placing my dress on top of my guests carry on bags & god help the effer who opens up MY compartment & tries to cram something in on top of my dress!!! smile120.gif

So, FI and I (and my mom!! hahaha) are staying at the Sheraton at Term. 3 the night before we leave. We have to check in about 3 hrs prior to departure. Do you think we can go check our luggage then go back to our room for a snooze before we go through securty?? There is nothing that says we have to be through security that far in advance right?? We will be literally 4 lanes of traffic (term.3 departures) from the doors of the airport so it will be quick to pop over, check in & go back. What do you thinkhuh.gif

Definite thanks for the nomination..but I'm pretty sure ErinB will take it wink.gif It's all good though..I know I'm special lol

Amanda..we checked out luggage and didn't go in right away..I'm sure you could go for a snooze but I wouldn't recommend it..what if you miss your flight lol Personally, I was too excited to sleep!!

OK..I have a situation..We are moving to London for February 1st but I have to start my new job on January 19th and I have no where to stay. I'm stressed over the idea of having to stay in London by myself to begin with and now it seems as if I will have to stay in a motel or something. I need to stay there from Sunday the 18th to Friday morning the 23rd and then again on Sunday the 25th to Friday morning.

WHERE DO I STAY?!?! Any recommendations?!?!

You're right...I probably won't be able to sleep either, but at least I could go back & get ready or just chill in a nice comfy room instead of an airport!!

Sorry I can't help with the sleeping accommodations - even if we lived in London we'd be gone that first week!! I'm sure there are a few decent/cheap places to stay. What about finding a room to rent?? It's only to sleep in really right??

I've been looking at rooms to rent in a house (student type housing) and they won't accept a 2 week stay - it's not even a full 2 weeks.

To be honest, I've been an emotional wreck about all of this. To think that I will be in a city where I know no one and staying in a room by myself without my husband or children around is freaking me out! No computer, probably a tv and nothing to do!

YIKES! I'll get over it because I'm a grown woman but I'm not fond of sleeping by myself lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
