I think it is fine too. I worked so hard on all the details of my Passport STDs and I doubt people even read them because I had so many questions about what to do (even though it was on the STD). So I agree that we pay way more attention to everything than our guests will. No worries, at least it was that letter and not the D wink.gif

If the invitation designer offered to try to make them right, fixing her mistake, then let her try. I don't believe you should have to pay anything to correct her error. She should have had her own proofreader check them before even presenting them to you. You paid for perfect invitations, and I personally think she is responsible for seeing that they are perfect.

Sorry to be pissy about this, but shoddy service should not be accepted. I would think if she can't fix them then you should not pay for them and have correct ones made elsewhere. You deserve the best.

Dominica is a completely different Caribbean island. The people of the Dominican Republic do not say Dominica. They say La Republica Dominicana.

If it makes you feel any better...I kinda did the same thing....I must have looked at my invitation proofs 8 billion times..then, days before they were to be printed, I switched the font and then there all these other corrections and it was such a rush...anyway, I got them in the mail last week..and the version my designer printed completely left out a line! It was supposed to say "Son of 'fiances' mother's name" right after his name, but, it did not. I was so upset at first, even though, I knew no one else would no the difference.

We decided to use the invites anyway, but, to send out the other version to only my fiances close family. The designer agreed to redo them on Monday and already sent out the new version...no charge.

I don't think you should be responsible for it...I think if she wants to do good business and keep you a happy customer...she should redo without charge. :)

Well, I did not ask her to redo them........... she said she would try to fix it but it wont be possible and she was so pleasant throught the process and so many people i showed today did not even notice and then to come home and read all the postive posts reassuring me it is fine made me feel a lot better. SO maybe she should be responsible but I love the invites anyway......... and i would use her again!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
