Hello Ladies!   I am trying to resurrect this thread for the Sandos Ladies!  I am getting married at Sandos on April 22nd, 2016.  It feels like a dream being able to type that after how long it took

Yup. Us too. We are planning to go to our travel agent on monday to see what our options are (she is on vacation - go figure). Most of the larger chains are allowing people to switch to another destination but ours isn't that big and the only other destination I saw was spain. If I find anything out I will post it on here. BTW... who did you book your trip through. We booked through Liberty Travel.

Just an FYI... I see you are from Canada and things might be different for you BUT... my guy spoke with the manager of our travel agency and they spoke with someone at Sandos. According to the manager, the resort is willing to refund everyones money if they want to cancel. Most of our guests have not paid in full but a few have. This has really lifted a weight of my shoulders. Now that we know that I feel comfortable with the "wait and see" approach. The whole thing sucks but at least our resort is being cool.

As for you ladies who are more than a couple months out... I am so glad we picked this resort. I was stressing because I thought that they would be harder to deal with because they are smaller.... Wrong. So far so good!

I'm getting married there June 20th. I wasn't that worried but now I'm getting worried b/c everyone keeps asking me about it and it's starting to stress me. Hopefully by the 1st of June things will be a lot better. This whole thing is just being made worse b/c of the media.

For those of you that are getting married in Jun do you have everything picked out already for your wedding or are you planning on doing it once you get there? I feel like I'm missing something.....or not asking the questions I need to, to get things done.

I don't have anything picked out yet. I guess we will figure it all out when we get there. I am having a hard time getting things together because I am so distracted with this stinkin flu. My best friend got married in punta cana and she didn't pick anything out until she got there and everything went great. She said that if she could go back and do it again, she would worry less about all that.

Which resort did you receive flower picture from? I have them from Caracol but not from Playacar. Thanks.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
