Im a newbie.. trying to figure out how this site works huh02.gif

Im Madeleine (Madde), I'm 24 and live in orange county, CA

with my husband (yes we're already married) Josh and baby girl

Abigail (april 28th 200cool.gif. I'm originally from Sweden and my husband

grew up in Indiana. We had a quicky wedding in Las Vegas in 2006.

We did it in a drive trough and we didn't have any guests.. we

had to get married so I could apply for me greencard. After that we

were supposed to have a 'real' wedding with dress, guests, cake.etc

in greece in may 2007 (that's where we met, and it seemed like

a 'fair' solution for our fam. and friends in both sweden and

the states). Unfortunately we had to postpone since pretty much

every single person we invited said they couldn't make it..

 

So.. instead of a wedding we decided we'd have a baby.

Now she's a couple of months old and we feel like its time

to have our dream wedding.. We've decided that we're going

to renew our vows in beautiful playa del carmen, mexico.

As of now we're thinking may/june of 2010.

 

We're just getting started.. and.. I don't really know what the first

step is?! dizzy.gif

I think you have already made a great first step by joining this forum. You will figure out everything you need to know here. If you have any questions just do a search and I'm sure someone else here has already asked it and the rest of the girls have already shared their wisdom on it.

Does anyone know if there's a thread with

links to ppls blogs or wedding-pages?!

I looove to read about and look at pictures

from real weddings.. Im working on our site

but won't post the adress until it has more

stuff on it :) Now all it has is a header haha.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
