ROR steel drum band

Recommended Posts

We play a cd and had our music on ipod if the cd didnt play..... The cd player was really loud and could hear the music upstairs in my suite above the gazebo as i was getting ready......you can also here it the music at the pool bar that is about 50 or so paces from the gazebo. Save the money and spend on flowers or your bridal hair style or a massage or something..... i just think the band is good but not worth that charge for the amount of time you need them for....

ANy ideas or has anyone had any experience with this?
Chandlyn controls the CD player herself-well at least she did at my wedding. Just have all of the songs that you are using on 1 CD, in the order that you want them & she will play the songs accordingly.

I have been e-mailing with Minsky who is on this board, although I don't know what his name is on here (check the noob section!!! - I am totally disorganized!!!!)

Here is his Wedding Sample on YouTube:

You can also listen to an audio sample at (click on "Soca My Heart"):

He said that he charges a flat performance fee, but not travel and lodging fees. He is really quick to respond and a really good deal, plus he is a great musician! I plan on meeting with him and speaking more with him (he is in my area), so I would talk to him. I will try to find his name on here!
