So as I was on the train this afternoon, I noticed an ad for "paint-on" false eyelashes which is mascara. I was like, okkkk,, so I came home & looked them up. I was particularly interested when I noticed that they are actually sold at Sephora.
Here's the links to the product:
Imju Fiberwig / Pias Intercosmex (U.S.A.) Corporation

    Sephora: Imju Fiberwig Fiberwig: Mascara

Anyone ever heard of this? Or tried it? Just wondering.

I like this mascara although I don't think it has the same effect as false eyelashes (my lashes aren't very full to begin with though). It's great at lengthening, doesn't smudge and comes off easily with warm water. It looks so pretty and natural on. If you have thick lashes and just want some length and color then it's great! It would be better if it provided more volume for me though.

I have short, sparce eyelashes and this thing does an amazing job! I've used a whole bunch of other products before but this one's so great that for years, I've been ordering it in multiples every time my mom went back to Japan. It does a great job with volumizing with one swipe, but You can dry it and layer it for length. It's polymer so it builds up easily, and there is absolutley no smudging at all - which is why I LOOOOVE this product.

Too Faced also makes a Polymar mascara called Lash Injection. It is carried at Sephora and Ulta. I have been so tempted to try it. I normally wear flash eyelashes and don't really wear mascara. About 10 years ago I had a flake of mascara get under my contact lens and imbed itself in my eye. I had to go to the eye doctor who had to use a microscope to get it out...and I couldn't wear a contact in that eye for about a week. As a result I've been a little mascara paranoid. This polymar mascara is supposed to create these "tubes" around your lashes and not flake...so I've been really thinking about it. Looks like Sephora carries a small sample tube for less than $10. I might have to get over my fear and give it a try. Anyone else tried the Too Faced version?
