i considered PR early in my planning but i found the costs a bit high. you should select a resort/location that you love b/c it suits you and FI and then b/c it's convenient.

no location is too far away in PR.

      good luck.

        Hi,

Just came back from PR and looks like I am going with El Conquistador for May 2009. They are expensive but they offer a lot in one place. Guanica is beautiful! I visited Gran Melia and Rincon Beach Resort. I skipped the San Juan ones although the El Convento looks beautiful and the Gallery Inn.

I was married in June at The Gallery Inn. I wouldn't recommend The Gallery but I love, love that we chose PR and did not find it to be any more expensive than other destination wedding locations.

I'm getting married at the copamarina this december. The place is beautiful. Do you know any vendors such as dj, photo and video?

I'm getting married in PR. Honestly there are many many options but it really depends on what type of venue you want: resort, restaurant, country or city side. Good Options are:

El Convento, Rincon Beach Resort, El Faro Hotels, Restaurant Antonio, Water Club.

                    Hope it Helps!

Hi Evie, are you still on this site? I saw you'd checked out the Gran Melia. I've been considering that one too I was curious why you chose the El Conquistador instead. Thanks!
