for two men, the appropriate format is "Messrs" - if you are unsure that they share the same last name, you can either list each individual last name, or call and ask if they share the same last name. if they do share the same last name then you would address it to "Messrs. John and Jack Smith"

    We have lesbian aunts on each side.

    Their invites were:
    Ms. Aunt of Bride
    Ms. Partner of Aunt of Bride
    Address

        Messrs - definition of Messrs by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia..

          You can always call and ask the couple if they changed their names and how they prefer to be addressed, they may appreciate the effort. Plus if it was a recent marriage you can use it as your chance to congratulate the happy couple if you weren't able to go to the wedding :-)
