Hi, I got them at a bridal store. The brand is dyables. They have a lot of cute shoes. Here is the link Dyeables

(i'm assuming you would know and have it in stock if that were the case, since you have this condition). and don't forget, photos can be retouched! wink.gif and if it's one of those things that flares up more with stress then i don't know what to say ... i'm paranoid i'll end up with a giant fever blister or something because i tend to get them when i'm overly stressed out ... try to relax? LOL i should practice what i preach!

and don't bother practicing your wedding-day-photo smiles ... you'll be full of them, naturally!!!!!!! nothing is more beautiful than a smile that's GENUINE!
Thanks for putting me at ease!!! I have been dealing with this disease since 2005, and I just want my eyes back to normal. They were way worse last summer, I was seeing double all the time. I can't believe I am leaving in 2 weeks!!!!!

We finally received the contract today after threatening to take the wedding to another place... and of course it's shady with tons of stuff changed.

My WC is fantastic and is looking for a plan B. She says it could work... but will anyway try to arrange the things, that's three of us... (we have been spending the last 10 days over the phone with those a$$*oles).
That so totally sucks!!! I hope everything works out for you and your wedding days is perfect!!

I thought I would show you my welcome letters. I couldn't figure out how to put the word doc in here. But here is the image I used behind the text.

Here is the messgae I used, I got it from someone's sample letter they used.

Dear Family and Friends,

The waiting is finally over!! Welcome to sun, sand and relaxation…Welcome to Beaches Turks and Caicos! We are both so happy and feel very blessed to be able to have you here at our wedding in Turks and Caicos. We are especially honored that you have traveled this far to be a part of our marriage celebration.

Many years from now, when we look back on our life and this day, we’ll remember that being surrounded by the family and friends we hold so dearly was the perfect beginning to our life as husband and wife. Each of you is providing us with special memories that we shall treasure forever.

We hope you enjoy the “goodies” included in this welcome bag. They are just a small token of our appreciation.

Please make the most of your vacation here in Turks and Caicos. We hope the next few days will be as memorable for you as they will be for us.

With Love,

Michelle & Dan

ayita, that's ridiculous! i'm so sorry! so i'm assuming you ended up not relocating? i hope everything works out. many of the things you pointed out should have been under contract!

what is your timeline of wedding events? i saw that you were upset about it all ending at 11pm and was confused ... we have a cocktail hour from 6-7 and then reception from 7-10 (that includes dinner time!), so really probably only an hour or two of dancing/partying before we have to move elsewhere. i think it's pretty common at most resorts. i would love to extend mine to 11 but they want ridiculous $$$ for that. screw them, it's an AI! we'll just move to the bar that is all of 15 feet away.

we'll all definitely be thinking of you and crossing our fingers that everything not only meets but exceeds your expectations on your wedding day. try to remember, the only really important part is that you marry your love. everyone will be on vacation, and none of them know will know any better if things aren't the way you envisioned. wink.gif smile03.gif

Thanks for your words ! Well, I have not relocated yet but it's still in the options... as long as I don't have a signed contract and you should see the TONS of modifications I did !!!

For me a wedding is dinner and party all night. This place is not a resort, it's a very small hotel and this was the whole point - to be between us... they have only one other guest... that I'm going to invite anyway... I was really planning to party until dawn, even with music less loud - but being over at 11pm, no. No no no.

We'll see how things go !

For Mfry : here is my dress, this pic is from my last fitting... the final one is on Saturday, although I have lost 4 pounds since I went there last time due to all this !!

i swear, every time i think i've finished something, it gets undone. flower girl dress no longer fits because she's becoming a real chunky monkey (it fit a few weeks ago!) and i bought one incorrect size shirt for groomsmen and tried to order the right size tonight and it's no longer available. wtf? i have my period so of course i was ridiculous and had a good cry over this stupid stuff, lol, but really? i don't have much accomplished and every time i think i have ... i haven't.pms.gifsmile105.gifwtf.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
