            Well, Jeff wanted to use rivets instead of brads and he revisited that topic last night. I told him I liked the brads and it's staying that way! lol
            He was kinda stumped too on what to do with the ribbon on the front. He liked both of the suggestions that were made here and I think I will experiment some more this afternoon with some paper and a monogram or something...
            I showed him everything all together- the invites, programs, fans, menus, and the candle thingy I'm working. He was really impressed, so that made it all worthwhile!

                Sarah, the invitations came out great!! I wish I was as creative as you!

                I agree with others, I don't really like brads on the front, but I know you mentioned you're already experimenting with this, so let us know how it goes!

                    I just realized that I never posted the final product. I ended up using a monogram for the outside. I know it's not technically "proper" but I really don't care because I couldn't come up with anything else and I really liked the look of the "s" initial on the front. The monogram is attached to the other cardstock and finally to the ribbon underneath with four brads at the corners, so it matches the rest of the invitation...
