Dreams Puerto Aventuras Brides - POST HERE!

Good luck finding pants. I heard those community wedding showers in Canada are a blast. Cousin in law's sister married a guy from Canada, he used to play hockey and stuff there, and after all was said and done here they went up there and she came home talking about how awesome it was and we all should have made the trip up there. Maybe some other time, those Canadian guys want to take us to do their kind of fishing. The are troopers though, tasted all of our weird fried foods of shrimp, frog legs, alligator, oysters, etc.

Anyway, have fun! I can't wait to be stressing about finding pants for our GMs.

Ah okay so is it weird that I live not too far from Dee and I haven't even heard of these community showers?!?! And omg I am laughing about your references of "those Canadian guys" and "their kind of fishing" and of course the hockey reference too :) I'm guessing that you're referring to ice fishing?? Hehe, too funny!

Not ice fishing, but they catch those giant flounders... can't think of the name, haha! I live in the great state of "Sportsman Paradise", so it's waaaay different types of fish that come from the Gulf. We just don't have hockey here. Had a league for about 2 years, didn't last at all. I would love to take a trip up there though!

haha okay I see what you mean! LOL! I just laugh at some of the stereotypes I hear sometimes and hockey is often one of them. But I'd have to say the same regarding Americans and their football! It's a totally different atmosphere & lifestyle than you would ever find here.

Well he really was a hockey player, which just made it funnier to find out he was Canadian. But with movies out there like The Waterboy and Little Chenier, I can't imagine what people must think it is like here!

Football, boy oh boy. Tailgating is the best, lol. My high school was too small for football, but once I was in college it really became fun. With a dad and 7 uncles that played and love it, it's fun to see how into the game they get.

Friday I have to go the Harry Hays building to pick up my passport. Did I mention how much I hate downtown Calgary lol and then go try to find more pants lol. Oh well. Talk to you all soon. Maybe I will be able to post pics of my bags soon.
What about the Banana Republic Outlet in Balzac or Deerfoot Meadows? I was just there last night looking for work pants and they had a 40% off sale on top of their sale. I got pants for $40 reg. $90.

Lol I know and I am the worlds worst person with directions and landmarking. FI laughs at me all the time for not being able to find my way places. We went to West Edmonton mall in december and I got looped in the same wing for 20 minutes. What can I say directions are not my strong point.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
