feeling lucky

I'm sitting here at my computer doing homework/surfing BDW website cheesy.gif and my window is open and I am listening to a huge domestic dispute.

It makes me sort of sad cause all I hear is the girl screaming about "you don't want the same things as me.. You don't. We are two different people" The guy has said nothing. (that I can hear anyway) It sort of broke my heart. I mean what do I know maybe they fight like this often.. I guess I am just feeling lucky.

I don't know who it is, how long they have been together or anything like that - she just sounded so sad in her voice. It was like she just made this huge discovery. (and it's loud cause my window is open so they might as well be in my kitchen arguing)

lol, you're funny. That reminds me of a short story we read in World Lit class called "The Ginormous Radio" (or something like that). It was a "magical" radio that would let this woman tune into all of the goings-on in her apartment building. Eventually she got addicted and really caught up in everyone's lives. lol

I'm bad tho, I eavesdrop on people sitting near me at restaurants and stuff like that... it irritates Martin blush2.gif

I think it's like watching talk shows, they're sad and they make you feel good about yourself (as weird as that sounds)

I had a similar thing in my old apartment building, the walls were paper thin and my neighbors fought all the time. It sounded really bad, sometimes I would get my girlfriend to translate it from Chinese, it was pretty funny what they were saying.

Did it end well?

Listening to other people fight never made me feel better or lucky about my own life, but it definitely brought out the nosey side of me! It's like free entertainment... reality tv.

When we lived in our apartment there were two sources of entertainment. Baby-mama drama from the single mother who had a rotating door of guys would fight with her "baby daddy" everytime he stopped by to pick the kid up. Then the womanizing roommates who would constantly get bitched out by their girlfriends for cheating... but they'd always come back.

Oh the drama!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
