BM with all different shoes? Pics please!

I thought I would tell all my BM's to just wear whatever white shoes they want - my BM dresses are tea length and turquoise with white piping. My sister is dead set on all the BM's wearing the same shoes though - she said it would look funny if everyone was in different shoes since you'll be able to see them. Does anyone have pictures of their BM's in all different shoes? Should I get everyone the same shoes?!?

I wanted all of our bridesmaids and groomsmens to wear their own shoes. I think that this allows them to bring their own style to the dress or outfit. The fact that we decided to have them wear matching outfits doesn't allow them to have their own "style". So, by allowing them to accessorize their matching dresses and outfits, gives them some freedom in expressing their personality.

That is just my personal opinion!

 

I don't have pro pics back yet, but I should be getting them in the mail this week! I will add pics of both wedding parties as soon as I can!

 

* I didn't get a pic with the bridemaids and I with our shoes on! We had them off during the ceremony and for pics! Ha! But here is a pic of the Groom and his "best woman" and groomsmen!

I don't have any pics, but both of the weddings I've been in let us wear our own shoes, and it was fine. We all were able to put our own spin on things and not have to buy shoes that were uncomfortable or not our style.

i'd be upset if someone told me what shoes to wear - not everyone is comfortable in the same shoes! for weddings that i've been in, i've been told the color and strappy sandals, or peep toe, or whatever. for mine, i told my bms to wear whatever color and style they wanted. we all went barefoot for the ceremony, and they all chose to wear white flip flops for the reception.

keep in mind, that no one will even notice the shoes...i say tell them what color and style and let them pick what they want.

hmmm...maybe it's a local thing? Every wedding I've been in (or even attended) all the BM's wore the same shoes. Our family thinks I'm crazy for not having the BM's wear matching shoes - that's why I was looking for pictures, to show them that it's no big deal.

Mine wore different shoes and it looked fine. One had on silver flipflops, the other had white wedges with polka dots. I can't find any pics!

This is not the best picture but one of the few I could find where you can actually see the shoes. The bride told the bridesmaids to wear any silver shoe/sandal.
