Azul Sensatori Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

I am thinking we are going to have around 40, and we got the DJ....I just wanted to leave it in someone elses hands and not have to worry about it.  We (well, quite a few brides on here too) booked DJ Doremixx...their website showing everyone partying it up with balloons/masks and their cheaper then most prices sold me.

:)

Packed our packs and headed to the airport. So I just spent the last week in Germany trying to arrange everything.

Hope all is going well, and I promise I will get that info out shortly.

I'm doing a hot pink ribbon to match the card stock. I have 30 fans.  I hadn't really thought about bringing them back home with me, but I suppose I could if the quantity works out for you.  Let me know.

Would you be interesting in selling just the fans with the ribbon to me after your wedding? Our color is pink as well :)

Sounds like a great price to me.  I think I spent about $20 for the iron on transfers.  I'm only doing 10 bags, so it would have been worth it to have them screen printed for that price!

Maggie - great suggestion! It got me thinking...how big are the room key cards at the hotel? Maybe I could get them card cases and they could stick their room key in there?

About credit card sized. Usually I just put mine into my beach bag, or gave it to hubby who put it in his shorts pocket.

Ladies, I am wondering how all of you transported your dresses to Mexico? I know shipping is not an option, could you imagine if the dress was lost? So I'm thinking of carrying on the airplane but don't want it to get smushed and wrinkled. What did you past ladies do (Trish, Murmel & Jaime)? Any words of advice for what to NOT do :)

I carried my dress and husbands suit and our shoes on board! Did not want to lose them!! We put our shoes into our carry ons and then the dress and suit, we put into dress bags. I had to put my dress in the overhead bin, folded over double. But once we got to Mexico, just hung it up and didn't have to do a thing. (mind you my dress was most lace, and didn't seem to wrinkle at all) We did get my husbands suit pressed. ****And by the way if you are getting married on a Monday, get your dress/suit sent out before Sunday. They laundry is Closed on Sundays!!

Can't remember who asked specifically, but the minister who did our symbolic ceremony, her name was listed as Guadalupe Hernandez. She was wonderful! Pretty sure she did Maggie's wedding as well.

Maggie- sorry to hear you are not thrilled with the photos. But there are many beautiful shots that will remind of your wonderful day! I love the one of you and your husband 'hugging' the palm tree.

Melissa- great to hear you found your dress! Do you have a picture to share yet?

If you don't mind me asking, how much did they quote you? We just booked the DJ through lomas travel but it seems quite expensive for 4 hours....

This is it!!!!   I love it!  Can't wait to wear it!  :)

The shoulder has a "veil" like shoulder, which I think will look really pretty on a windy beach!  (I am not wearing one on my head)

:)

$800 US for 1-5 hours **but there is that pesky outside vendor fee....either way, when I booked, it was still less than Lomas' price.....

If you PM me with your email, I can send you more info/pics they sent me when I was inquiring.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
