ROR Brides and Hair

Recommended Posts

Did you find it was easier to book in advanced to get your hair done and confirm your reservation by paypal? Or was it no problem booking when you arrived?

I am flying in on the Saturday and my Wedding is on the Thursday. The other thing is hair is not something that I am giving as a Bridesmaid gift so I don't want to be putting it all on my paypal account necessarily if I don't have to.

Let me know what you think!!

For those who have gotten married there, my wedding is at 3:00 what is your suggestion for hair times?

Cheers! smile35.gif

Hiya!

I think you can book the appointment when you get there. Or about 1-2 months beforehand you can get in touch with your WC (mine is Valeria but I've heard of others having Chandlyn) and ask them about a hair appointment.

I have a list of prices from the spa but it's on my home computer. If I get home early enough (yes I'm still at work and not liking it) then I will post it for you.

I am getting married at 11am so I am going to request a 9am appointment. If you are only getting the standard pics taken before the ceremony then I think 2 hours is good..or maybe 3..I just don't want to have to get my hair done and have to wait that long..just in case I mess it up lol

Let me know if you want the price list!

When I spoke with the woman who does the booking there she said if you were the only person you can book when you get there, however if it is you and the wedding party then you should probably book ahead. The bonus is that booking ahead I believe you get a percentage off the cost.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
