Does anyone know if there are resorts side by side to ROR? FI's grandpa is extremely upset since he found out there wasn't a casino at the resort, so I want to check around and see if there are any resorts next to ROR that may have gambling. I've tried searching the web, but am not having much luck. I thought that maybe someone who has been there may have seen neighboring resorts..... any info would be greatly appreciated!

There is a tiny casino at the ROR. There are about 20 slots there. Sandals is right next door but I don't think you can go there whenever you want to because it is all-inclusive.
My favorite type of vacation, a relaxing one!

        Jamaica Casinos | jamaica-guide.info

Most Jamaican casinos are part of resort hotels, which means nearly all Jamaican casinos are located in popular tourist areas of the island.

        Popular casinos include:

        Coral Cliff Hotel (Montego Bay)

        Hedonism II Resort (Negril)

        Hedonism III Resort (Ocho Rios)

Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort (Montego Bay)

The Jamaica Pegasus and Derby Rooms (Kingston)

        Jungle Negril (Negril)

Renaissance Jamaica Grande Resort (Ocho Rios)

Terra Nova Hotel, Monte Carlo Gaming (Kingston)

Treasure Hunt Ocho Rios (Ocho Rios)

The casinos in Jamaica do not have "tables" with card games but the slot type of machines. Jamaica is talking of legalizing "true" casinos but there is strong religious opposition.

Thanks so much for all of this helpful info, it is greatly appreciated! I had been looking into the 3 casinos in Ocho Rios, but couldn't figure out if they had table games (which is what FI's gpa wants) so TA Jennifer your post was extremely helpful! I will pass this info along to him, and he will just have to deal with it! I am surprised by how whiny he is being about it in the first place...but there's always (atleast) one in the bunch! Thank you ladies!!!
