ROR Ceremony Privacy

Recommended Posts

I didn't even notice...I was in my own happy bubble! pinkie.gif

I don't think the beach is any less private than the garden gazebo. A HUGE amount of the rooms are directly loooking over that gazebo - and we always noticed the weddings there before we noticed them on the beach!

This is also something that is a major concern for me. I'm so scared that my pics will have a bunch of beach chairs in them vs. the very elegant private weddings I see at some other resorts. I hope that won't be the case though. I wonder how far down they would be willing to move the arch though?

I also worry about the privacy (beach ceremony at ROR July 20). I was at a wedding in Mexico at Mayan Rivera as a guest and I saw the topless women lingering on the periphery of the ceremony area. The couple didn't notice and their photographer did an excellent job of avoiding these onlookers. We hired the same photographer and am bringing him from Toronto to our wedding because he did such a great job.

I noticed people as I was walking to the beach ceremony with my girls and parents.  Other than that, I have no idea who was watching.

The only problem we had was when taking photos, there were 2 teenagers buying what I can only assume to be drugs right behind me.  My photographer screamed at them to have some tact and not do their deals when there is a wedding going on (we had 51 guests so it was a large group).  They moved right along down the beach.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
