    Ok, so I take it that all of the resort photo packages are terrible?! Or is it just standard to book an outside photographer? My wedding is at Dreams in Cancun....anyone ever used their photographer there?
    Thanks!

      I am getting married at Dreams Tulum. Not sure if they use the same photographer. I have requested some samples from their photographer to see what kind of work they do. While I am waiting though I have been contacting outside photographers to get prices and availability just in case. So far, some of the outside ones who do excellent work have been cheaper than the resort prices too!

          Let me know what info you find out since I am pretty sure we are going to Dreams Cancun as well. I have been trying to find out what I will be looking at for packages and pictures. I didn't know if anyone has used the photographer on site. Thanks!!!

            I have some pictures that the resort photographer took, that I got from the wedding coordinator at dreams and I also have the price list. The pictures were decent, I just wish she had sent more. let me try to find them.

              okay, here they are. They're no where near as good as Juans, Jonathans, or Leighs pictures, or any of the other wonderful photographers that are on this forum, because I know I'm forgetting some people. But if you can't afford much, at least you'll have pictures and here's the package prices. I have found outside photographers for about the same or less most with more pictures than offered by the resort, but you'd have to do some comparing of the packages, its worth looking into different vendors to see what they offer. Also, some of the dreams wedding packages come with some pics.

              Package 1

              40 photos 4”x 6”
              12 photos 5”x7”
              03 photos 8”x10”

              $ 560 usd + 10% tax

              * No includes the Reception

              Package 2
              75 photos 4”x 6”
              18 photos 5”x7”
              03 photos 8”x10”

              $ 980 usd + 10% tax

              Package 3

              100-120 photos 4”x6”
              25 photos 5”x7”
              05 photos 8”x10”

              $ 1,610 usd + 10% tax

                    If you don't mind me asking....What photographers quoted you around the same price as Dreams? I'm starting to get frustrated now because I have contacted 2 and 1 of them is not available. (Sol Tamargo) Still waiting to hear back from Elizabeth! I guess I need some help!
                    Thanks so much!
