They had to put 1/2 the deposit down ($80) and then they would have to pay the second half when the dresses came in. Well in March, one bridesmaid told me that she couldn't go because she found out she was pregnant. Then two weeks after that a second one told me that she had personal issues and couldn't go. Well, they both said that they would still pay for the dresses even though they weren't going. I sent out an email last week letting everyone know the dresses are here. Well, I haven't heard anything from those two. How should I approach them? I just can't afford to pay for their dresses on top of everything else. Any advice woiuld be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, I've had lots of bridesmaid problems here recently and the best approach is to be honest. Are you having an AHR? If so, you could ask the girls to wear the dresses there. They could also always try to sell them on e-bay. They made the commitment so now they need to honor it. (That is my new mantra)

They said they would pay so they probably will.
If those sizes fit other guests attending, maybe they can wear them as your maids.
If not, don't stress too much. Everything does happen for a reason.
One of my bridesmaids told me she cannot make it a month ago.
