Hello there,

SO I need your help!!

I only decided that I was going to have bridesmaids about 4 days ago ( my wedding is in a month) so we decided that since we are all in different provinces we would find a store everyone has access to. I told the girls to find a bright, simple sundress. It is a bright pink dress, (it is the only one they agreed on. I will try and post the pic.

I am wondering what you all think about what the groomsmen should wear. There will be three of them. My fiance wants to get a tan suit and I am wearing a white dress. WHat would make sense for the groomsmen to wearhuh.gif I really have no clue about these things. I have been to very few weddings in my life and never to a destination one.

Here is the url for the sundress

I couln't figure out how to upload the picture so here is the website. I will have to practice some more.

Thanks in advance

Cute dress! Does your FI already have his suit? The GMs could try and find matching suits or just wear khaki pants and a linen shirt. If you want something funkier, have them get matching tropical print shirts that will go with the dresses and tie in your colors.

Search the forum for menswear or GM attire, etc. for examples.

Try this one:

You might start on the last page and work backwards for more current info on what is available, sales, etc.

Thanks so much for replying!

SO my slight concern is that if the groomsmen were to wear white shirts and khaki bottoms then they would be the same color scheme as the groom. I don't really mind but I am not sure if that will look strange in photos?

I looked at the post you gave me and I saw a pic that was the same as I just mentioned and it looks fine....... SO I guess maybe we should just do that. I would leave my fiance to do it but he keeps asking what I think lol. He doesn't seem to care what happens with everyone else as long as long as he gets to wear a tan suit

We put our guys in tropical prints - not one of the really wild ones, but something far more subtle. Something kind of like this:

Click the image to open in full size.

If you want to go that route, both Hawaiian Shirts From Mauishirts.com - hawaiian shirts, hawaiian shirt, aloha shirts, aloha shirt, tropical shirt, hawaiian clothing, hawaiian clothes, paradise found and paradiseclothingcompany.com have some great choices - just make sure to opt for one of the 100% cotton ones rather than a rayon, which can be sooo hot.

I think it would look really nice if the guys were in white linen shirts and khaki pants...they definately won't be as formal as the groom and the colours are neutral so they would match any dresses you pick for your BMs :)

Also I don't know what colours you're picking for your bouquet, but if the GMs had pink bouts they would tie in with your BM dresses...

My FI is wearing a tan suit with a white shirt, no tie, and white single orchid bout.

The GMs are wearing the same tan suit with a aqua shirt, no tie, and small double orchid bout.

I'm trying to organize a planning blog and will post pictures soon!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
