Hello all, I am fairly new on the board, and I am kicking myself I did not join a long time ago. I am leaving for the wedding Sat May 24th late at night, so really May 25th (SUNDAY) I am going crazy and I still feel like I have so much to do. Can anyone give me a quick heads up on last minute details you really wished you had gotten around to but hadn't. I can't think straight at this point. Everyone I talk to says "oh you're going away there CAN'T be much to do" SO just any sort of help you can send my way would be great

Hi there, sorry about not responding for so long. My planning is going ok. I think the resort is fairly new and they continue to be adding different things to the resort. SO a lot of the planning is ok. For the first couple of months I was not getting any real responses and then there was a different wedding coordinator and I would get a response. Then I sent them another email and they did not know who I was and it was a brand new coordinator, but she has been there for awhile and she has been very helpful. They have changed the restaurants around so now our dinner plans have to be changed. SO I am actually not sure how it is going. I feel crazy right now anyway since we leave on Saturday so I am not sure if it is them or me.

I will be going there for our wedding in 2 weeks so I can definitely let you know what its like there !!

I am just so confused that the captive woman's mother believed the husband. How the hell do you lock people in your basement and have no clue that four people live down there She must have had some sort of an idea that he rdaughter and grandchildren were down there.

I vote # 2!!! As soon as I saw it I liked it much better. It's light airy and sparkly, which is always a bonus!! Let us know which one you pick

Thanks so much for replying! SO my slight concern is that if the groomsmen were to wear white shirts and khaki bottoms then they would be the same color scheme as the groom. I don't really mind but I am not sure if that will look strange in photos? I looked at the post you gave me and I saw a pic that was the same as I just mentioned and it looks fine....... SO I guess maybe we should just do that. I would leave my fiance to do it but he keeps asking what I think lol. He doesn't seem to care what happens with everyone else as long as long as he gets to wear a tan suit

Hello there, SO I need your help!! I only decided that I was going to have bridesmaids about 4 days ago ( my wedding is in a month) so we decided that since we are all in different provinces we would find a store everyone has access to. I told the girls to find a bright, simple sundress. It is a bright pink dress, (it is the only one they agreed on. I will try and post the pic. I am wondering what you all think about what the groomsmen should wear. There will be three of them. My fiance wants to get a tan suit and I am wearing a white dress. WHat would make sense for the groomsmen to wear I really have no clue about these things. I have been to very few weddings in my life and never to a destination one. Hello all I am at work, so I will make this short but sweet. I am super excited to have joined the forum, I am getting Married May 28th at Sandos Playacar beach Resort in Playa del Carmen. I am super behind on everything and have less than 6 weeks to go. I can't wait to get all of your great advice and hope to hear from you all soon!!
