Okay i was looking at my wedding to do list and figured i'd post an updated what's left for me to do:

- send in Wedding Planning Guide to wc that has menu choices and other reception/ceremony choices

- purchase undergarments for dress

- decide on flowers and wedding cake

- make ceremony/reception playlists and burn songs on CDs

- insure engagement ring (uh oh never did that)

- finalize welcome dinner arrangements

- labels for pashminas and tie them up with ribbon (i'm having my sis do that this weekend for me...what a great MOH)

- get makeup done at Laura Mercier

- get dress fitted

- get wedding bands (being made as we speak just have to pick them up and pay)

- print menus

- print programs

- put together oots bags

- make welcome booklets

- get paperwork translated

- put placecards in photo album favors (my sis is supposed to do that for me this weekend too!)

think that's it. I keep putting off the welcome booklets. maybe on monday after my dress fitting and teeth whitening I'll start on the welcome booklets.

Here is my shrinking to do list.

-Buy pants for Larry and BM

-Finish the bathbombs we started forever ago

-Finish the soaps

-Print off programs (waiting to know if there are going to be any GM or not)

-Finish the welcome booklets (Waiting for final guest list first before I can print off the last few pages)

-Get my BD pics back and order a book for Larry's gift.

-Figure out my something OLD from both my Grandma and my Nanny. (Now I am getting a starfish bouquet pin as my something borrowed!)

I would also like to get a new snorkle mask that is fitted to me before we go, but I'll see. I also want a new camera. Not too much left, and I might be able to get some done later today if I go over to my Mom's without the children. Larry should be home soon.

Yep - I put a dot on each tooth in the tray and wear them overnight. I also bought this stuff called MI Paste. It is a prescription strength flouride to help your teeth not be so sensitive. I use this before and after the bleach (or anytime my teeth get sensitive).

Hope everyone has a good weekend. I may be on occassionally or just my late night BDW-ing since I have to work. I am really hoping that Larry doesn't have to work tomorrow since we don't have a babysitter and I don't know what we will do. Sun hopefully Larry's Mom can watch the kids if we need her too. My Mom leaves for a cruise tomorrow morning. She is going on an Alaskin cruise with 2 of her sisters and one of their husbands.

My 17 year old sister got her upper lip pierced yesterday and my parents are not impressed about it. Not sure how she managed it since she needed emla cream to get her ears pierced about 3 years ago and she was still scared and crying!!!

I am working on printing our welcome brochures right now. I think they look good but I may need a heavier paper. Got two more RSVPs so that leaves 5 people overdue. Dont really understand what is so hard especially since there were STDs in January and all. Geesh people!! Your to do lists kill me ladies!! I think I need to make one up. The list seems short in my head but I think when I write it out it may look ugly!! Uh oh!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
