Oh, one more might be the Stonefield Estate Villas (in the south). Welcome to Stonefield Estate Resort

If we werent' having a bunch of people with us, the stonefield is probably where we would go.

    Good luck with planning!
Kari, thank you so much! I sent a note to the Villa Beach Cottages and they got back to me literally 30 minutes later with all kinds of information. it looks like this could be a good option for us - just need to run it by the finace. :) It looks like there aren't as many services as some of the others, so I don't know how he'll feel about that, but their wedding gazebo on the beach is adorable, and their new rooms/villas are really nice.

I am still waiting to hear from Discovery and Jalousie - I think I may be leaning toward Discovery as this point, so fingers crossed that they reply soon.

Also - we are sticking to March. I was able to find airline tickets using my miles (Woohoo!) and Jamie (finace) told me he'd rather do March than May, so I have less time to change my mind. LOL... he's kidding, of course.

LOL! Heather, I hear you on having less time to "change your mind"...

I keep changing my mind on everything until we get to the point where if I don't make a decision stuff won't happen!

        Hi Heather,

Congrats! We are getting married at the Jalousie in 11 days:) We went in February to check things out. If you want to see pictures of the resort you can go to our website at www.timandliz.info. You can get married on the beach or on the mountainside between the Pitons. The wedding coordinator is Marcus. He can be reached at marcus@thejalousieplantation.com. Let me know if you have any questions about the Jalousie. Have fun planning!

            Hi Kelly,

I just emailed it to you. Some of it is date specific, but if you scroll toward the bottom is the wedding coordinator's name and information if you want to contact her directly.

This is our back-up plan right now - it's a great option, great price and the hotel looks really nice. We are leaning toward staying at Nature's paradise, which gets *stellar* ratings on TripAdvisor, and having Awesome Caribbean Weddings plan a private beach wedding for us. 99% sure that's the route we're going - but at the rate I change my mind, who knows! LOL!

            Good luck - I hope I helped!

Thanks Heather! How does Nature's compare as far as $$$? I need to check it out. I got a quote from ACW and loved the package they put together.

Is anyone planning on taking down their own centerpieces and decorations? My wedding planner quoted me some really expensive prices for centerpieces and I am not sure what to do?

I haven't even thought about that. I just assumed I would get some local flowers made up by a florist down there. What kinds of prices are you talking?

I was thinking about it, but not sure it. I really don't have to have to take much down or ship. My Wedding planner did send some picture of some and I do think the prices are bit expense. I will have to look into this more and decide what I want to do. Maybe more local flowers and candles will be better. When are you getting married?

Yeah, my coordinator quoted me about $80 for some bouquets around the "altar" and about $25 each for aisle decor (which I was planning to double the use as centerpieces for the reception). I have been considering having fake bouquets sent down instead, but haven't decided yet.
