Hello Kristy,

It is Velda. Yes, I got a few menus. I got one for Jacques Waterfront Dining, Edge, and also a BBQ Menu,1461 and Piano Piano which is in the same place as 1461 beachfront. I am still trying to decide which one to pick for my Rehersal Dinner. The menues you always customize it to the way you want them. I will foward to you in a few. Do you want me to post it here or do you want me to send to your personal email address. Let me know.

How is everything else going?

Hi Kristy,

I am still hear, but you are right we haven't heard much from the other two girls.

How are things going with you? Did you decide on which restaurant to cater for you?

I have started to look for my dress this month. Found one I love so far, but I still want to look around a little bit more to make sure there is nothing else out there. I haven't decided on the BM dresses yet. I am thinking of Aqua being my color.

What about you found your dress and BM dress yet?

I also have another question and hoping you can help.

As far as your pictures did you book your photographer yet? After you get your digital CD are you going get them in an wedding album? Any suggestions or ideas?

Hope all is well with you?

Hey Velda!

I'm talking to Jacques right now about our reception dinner. We're changing our plans and have decided to actually eat at the restaurant. It's just so much easier. We'll then have the "party" at the villa afterwards. That menu you sent me was SO helpful. Thank you!

I went wedding dress shopping this weekend. I had only gone once before (like 7 months ago), but this time I was really ready to find something. I think I did! It's a Maggie Sottero. I have not purchased it yet, but I'm going back this weekend to try it on again. (I can't impulsively buy something like that.) I think this is it though. Yes, I will post pictures if it is.

As for BM dresses, they're non-existent. At this point, we're not having a bridal party. If that changes, I would not have my girls purchase a dress. It's just not a big deal to me.

Photography is one of my favorite subjects. I won my photography and videography from BDW! Kristi Klemens of KLK Photography and Paul Bennett of Blue Sky Videos will be flying down to spend 4 days with us. I'm so excited! I'll probably make coffee table books instead of a standard album, but I haven't thought more about it than that.

I hope planning is going well for you!

Hi Kristy,

That is good news. It does sounds much easier. Glad it worked out. I am happy I was able to help.

I went shopping about two weeks ago and also the same for me my first 12months ago. My second dress I did try on was a "Maggie Sottero" and my Maid of honor loved it on me, but I wasn't sure if this was the one. I need to be sure. I myself don't like buying on impluse I like to think thiings through and then make a decision. It would be funny if it is the same dress. What is the name of the dress you tried on? I did go to another bridal salon last week and love one that I tried on. That might be the one, but I want to try a few more salon within the next couple of weeks and if I don't find anything else I like i will make my decision on the two I like the most or loved...

That is great. Lucky you... Yeah, i was thinking about what I will do if I want a traditional wedding album or something different myself. I did see a few ideas of books.. I still have time to think about that...

It's going. I will keep you posted.... Hope all is well with you as well..

The dress is called Bliss. I didn't even pick it out of the book at first. The picture they had of it had horrible lighting and the material looked really heavy. It looked like a totally different dress when she pulled it out. We'll see tomorrow if this one is the winner!

Hi Girls, thanks for all the great info on St. Lucia. I am getting married there in November 2008. Do any of you know if there are restrictions with what you carry in your luggage? I have decided not to ship any of my welcome bag goodies ahead of time and I am taking all of it with me. I have been trying to find out if customs will take anything from me once I get there. If you know what we can and cannot bring please let me know. Or if you know of a place where I may be able to find this info please let me know. Thanks for all of your help! Good luck dress shopping!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
